Scarves Are Making A Comeback in 2014
There was a time in the 2000's when scarves were a hugely fashionable accessory, made stylish largely because of celebrities such as Jessica Alba and Nicole Richie who were spotted wearing them in all manner of ways. Then they sort of faded out of the limelight and, though they never completely disappeared, they just weren't so trendy anymore. All of that seems to be set to change this year. It started on the Spring/Summer 2014 runways when fashion heavy-hitters such as Celine, Derek Lam and Diane Von Furstenberg all showed models strutting down the catwalks with scarves, and now the trend has hit it big this winter. We've seen all sorts of scarves from oversized and knitted to sleek and colourful to bandanas to headscarves from the likes of Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Giambattista Valli and so many more. So it's time to dig out those scarves again, people! And in case you're at a loss for a modern creative way to wear them, here are some of Stylecab's favourite runway scarf looks that we've seen this year to get you inspired.
